Mrs. Kline holds a liberal arts degree from PJC from which she graduated with honors. Previously she graduated from a Christian leadership college with an Associates of Theology, where the four year program curriculum (two full time years on campus, and two practicum years "in the field") was designed to develop the skills & abilities of teaching, counseling, service to others, convention planning and meeting organization. For ten years she taught small groups of students, coached missionaries, counseled troubled individuals, lectured audiences, and coordinated or participated in the organization of many classes, meetings and conventions.
The director has been a Pensacola resident since 1989 where she was registered with the state as a CNA. For a decade she owned and operated a successful in-home care service for the elderly and disabled, which, according to particular needs, included staffing, hospice work, in-home medical, hospital and therapeutic care as well as community outings.
In 2000, after several long standing accounts were categorized as hospice and eventually ended, she returned to the coaching & teaching work enjoyed previously and accepted a position for a major cable company as a performance appraisal specialist, otherwise known as a "quality control" coach, evaluating and improving the abilities of customer service representatives. She found gratification in helping to facilitate the development of other's specific skills and abilities, and those who were critiqued and evaluated responded comfortably and made unusual progress. Since 2002 she has been delighted to enjoy an even more rewarding position as a community coach to the developmentally disabled. In 2005 "Kline Developmental Services" was incorporated and began operating as an agency provider of services.
Mrs. Kline has completed Medicaid Provider Training from the State of Florida, DCF/APD, as well as Supported Employment & Natural Supports: A Florida Training Curriculum from the University of South Florida in conjunction with FL Developmental Disabilities Council, as well as many other courses.
Each service provider passes local, state and federal background screenings and maintains certifications in CPR and Infectious Disease Control as well as training in Health and Safety, Developmental Disabilities, Zero Tolerance and HIPAA.
